Thank you Lord for your faithfulness to your people at the Duncan. Unless the Lord builds the house ( Hospital etc.) they labour invain that build it. We thank you Lord that with Faith in you, the Living God, all things are possible! We now pray for wisdom for those who have the task of using the money gifted properly and well for your further glory and for the well being of mothers to be and their chidren.

Just a note to say thank you to GOD and to the prayer team for praying concerning our son Mark's chemotherapy.  He has had wonderful news that there has been an "excellent" response to the chemotherapy as shown on his pet-scan. He continues with chemotherapy for another 6 months but has had chemotherapy reduced from 4 drugs to 3.  What a Christmas present to get from the Lord!  Is he in control or what?

Pray that we'll use this week's events to invite others to come and see church in action: Carols by Candlelight and cafechurch, two great opportunities to introduce our friends to NMBC, and through NMBC to Christ! 

"Thank you Lord that you give us opportunities each day to witness for you - give us eyes to see these, obedience to take them, and faith that your Spirit will work through them!"

Deans spoke about the gift of helps a few weeks ago. I've been thanking God very much for the ways I've seen that gift used on my behalf recently, so if you have:

taken on a job I should have been doing,  visited me or contacted me, fixed something for me, showered my daughters with love and care, brought me food, pointed out something obvious I might have missed, made me laugh, prayed for me, loaned me something or helped me in any one of too many ways to count,

please know that I am naming you individually before God that His blessing will always be with you, and that this wonderful gift will continue to be used generously both among ourselves and as a witness to the people around us.

Please pray for the leaders of the YF, current and future, that we can all see the vision that God has for the YF and also that we can continue to provide a safe, friendly, welcoming and God centred place.

Please pray for the search for new leaders, that the right decisions will be made and people will be open and willing to join the team.

Continue to pray for the strong link with Maxwell Mearns church as YF continues to around 50:50 of NMBC and Maxwell. Praise God for this fantastic bond and may it continue to strengthen and grow.

Pray for the new term, that we can decide on a theme that can challenge every person of the YF to walk with God and strengthen our faith in God: help us not be shy. Pray also that the new YFers will settle in well and really enjoy their time as part of God's Youth Fellowship.
